ADEA Working Group on Books and Learning Materials Steering Committee Meeting 12 – 13 July, 2005, Johannesburg, South Africa. This meeting, in Johannesburg, will be hosted by the READ Educational Trust, which has taken over responsibility for the coordination and administration of the Working Group’s activities. The main agenda items at this meeting will be the revision of the Working Group’s work plan for 2006 and preparations for the Biennale next year. The themes for the next Biennale will include Early Childhood Education, Literacy and School Effectiveness – all of which have implications for the Books Working Group’s mission to improve the availability of teaching and learning materials both inside and outside school.
