Preparations on course for ADEA’s 2016 planning and induction meeting in Abidjan

Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire – August 20, 2015. The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) will hold an internal planning and induction workshop from 31st August to 5th September, 2015 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The six-day meeting will see leaders and coordinators of ADEA's Working Groups, Inter-Country Quality Nodes (ICQNs) and ICT Task Force joining Secretariat staff in inducting the new staff who have recently joined ADEA, reviewing the Association's performance since the beginning of 2015 and preparing the 2016 Integrated Program and Budget, in line with the five strategic objectives of the 2013-2017 Medium Term Strategic Plan (MTSP).

In addition, the Secretariat will take this opportunity to review the functionality of its Performance Measurement and Monitoring System (PMMS), with a focus on results. Participants will also get an update on preparation for the 2016 Triennale, and ongoing strategies for improving ADEA's financial position, communication, partnerships and external relations as well as knowledge management.
