Abidjan, Harare, Nairobi - 25th October 2016. ADEA WGEMPS and FAWE are searching for ideas and scalable innovative programmes/projects/activities that can/have successfully advanced girls’ in secondary education in Africa. The challenge will run from 25th October to 25th December 2016.

FAWE in partnership with ADEA held an award ceremony on 7th July 2016, at the FAWE conference room in Kilimani, Nairobi. The award ceremony recognized the three top most significant change stories coming out of a competition to identify innovative programmes that have greatly contributed to advancing girls’ participation in secondary education in Africa.
