Working Group Profiles previous page | next page A database of Working Group activities is being developed ADEA is developing a database of Working Group activities. The database aims to: (i) apprise Ministers of Education of ADEA activities in their countries at all times; (ii) keep working groups informed on one another's activities and thereby foster collaboration and coordination between them; (iii) provide information to agencies and professionals. The database is being developed as a Windows-based interactive program. It will allow users to access information by Working Group or by country. For each selected working group, the following information will be accessible: a general description of the working group; names and addresses of members, participants and leaders; categorization of WG activities along the areas of capacity-building, analytical work and advocacy; a summary description of activities; names of partner organizations and funding agencies involved; a list of publications and, when available, full texts of publications. The program is expected to be finalized in the first semester of 1999.
