A Ghanaian Marie Curie International Incoming Fellow, Dr. Kwadwo Appiagyei-Atua, is undertaking a research project at University of Lincoln, UK on the health of academic freedom in African universities. As part of the project, he has launched an online empirical survey aimed at assessing the level of de facto compliance of academic freedom in Africa. The survey, which takes about 20 minutes to complete, is available at www.surveymonkey.com/s/BAFADIAEnglish.

He is entreating academics teaching and researching in public African higher education institutions to help complete the survey by April 30, 2015. By so doing, you contribute your quota in helping to promote academic freedom in Africa. Kwadwo may be reached at kappiagyei-atua@lincoln.ac.uk for further details, if necessary.

[The survey automatically saves at the end of each page, which enables you to pause and complete later on the same computer, or to amend any of your previous answers.]

***3 winners of iPad will be determined by lot among the survey participants at the survey end-date.
