Innovation Week-end in Francophone West Africa

The African Development Bank (AfDB) will host an innovation week-end that aims at finding technology based solutions to improve the quality of life of the people of Africa.

The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) will join this important event which will focus on the following themes:

• Increasing financial inclusion in West-Africa; and
• Fostering skills development for employment.

The AfDB innovation week-end that will attract young leaders from West Africa and the diaspora with a particular focus on young women, seeks to introduce innovative approaches in designing, developing and implementing technology based interventions for Africa’s growth.

The 3 days event (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) will apply several methodologies including group work, workshop and keynote addresses from eminent speakers to stimulate and collect youth ideas.

Participants divided into groups will participate in a 48h contest (non-stop) and the 3 best projects will be awarded.
