Redouane Assad

Dr. Redouane Assad is a resource person for ADEA Task Force on Education Management and Policy Support (TFEMPS). He is the Head of the Statistical Studies Division at the Ministry of Higher Education in Morocco. He worked for almost 20 years in education management and worked as the Head of the ‘‘Graduate Integration Monitoring Service’’ in the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education. Former employee of the UNESCO Institute of Statistics (UIS), Dr. ASSAD was in charge of the methodology of education indicators during 6 years. He was responsible for the development of education indicators’ methodologies and the quality of UIS's education statistics published in flagship publications. He is one of the pioneers in the development of the current regional average methodology adopted by UNESCO since 2011. He also participated to the CIES Fulbright Program 2007-2008. Dr Assad taught at several higher education institutions in Canada and worked as a Pedagogical and Administrative Advisor (2010-2012) for the Montreal Arab Schools’ group in Canada and General Director of the same group during the period 2012-2014. He is a reviewer of national and international publications in economics of education, member of scientific committees of conferences, and resource person of the African Higher Education Collaborative Program (AHEC) and ADEA.
