Victoria Levin

Victoria Levin is a Senior Economist in the Education Global Practice and a co-Lead of the Skills Global Solutions Group. Her current work focuses on issues related to student assessment, measurement and development of socioemotional skills, and innovations in adult literacy. In the past, Victoria has worked in the Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice in the Europe and Central Asia region on strengthening labor market policies, challenges and opportunities of population aging, and on the performance of social safety net systems in the Middle East and North Africa region. Before joining the World Bank, Victoria worked at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, DC. Victoria holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University.

Victoria Levin est économiste dans le secteur Développement humain de la Banque mondiale. Elle travaille sur le thème des filets de protection sociale, des marchés du travail et de l’analyse de la pauvreté. Les recherches qu’elle mène au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique du Nord se concentrent sur l’efficacité des systèmes de protection sociale existant dans la région, sur l’économie politique de la réforme de la protection sociale et sur le développement communautaire. Avant d’entrer à la Banque mondiale, Victoria Levin a travaillé au Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, à Washington. Elle est titulaire d’un Ph.D. en politiques publiques délivré par l’Université de Harvard.
