The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) and the Government of the Republic of Namibia through the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture (MoEAC) successfully carried out and published the evaluation report on effectiveness of implementation of the school attendance policy in Namibia.

The ADEA's Task Force on Education Management and Policy Support (TFEMPS) in collaboration with the Government of Zimbabwe through its line ministries responsible for education and training, successfully peer reviewed the country’s Education Management Information System (EMIS).

The Task Force on Education Management and Policy Support (TFEMPS) of the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) handed over on 22nd July 2019 a donation of office equipment to the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of Zimbabwe (MoPSE) that comprised 16 computer desks, 12 office swivel chairs, 3 printer desks, 3 printers, and a scanner.

On 28th January 2019, in the Joint Chambers of the Capitol Building, Dr. George Manneh Weah, President of the Republic of Liberia, stressed in his annual message to the 54th National Legislature the significant contribution of ADEA to youth skills development for the oil palm industry in his country.

Experts in Education Management Information System (EMIS) from Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt and Mauritania technically validated the EMIS Norms and Standards and their Assessment Framework for North Africa during a workshop held in Tunis (Tunisia) from 18 to 22 June 2018, organized by ADEA's Working Group on Education Management and Policy Support (WGEMPS).

ADEA through its Working Group on Education Management and Policy Support (WGEMPS) presented the activities of its  Inter-Country Quality Node on Teaching and Learning (ICQN-TL), the recommendations of the ADEA 2017 Triennale as well the Most Significant Change stories initiative at the 62nd International Council on Education for Teaching (ICET).

Twenty-five experts in education management information systems (EMIS), education planning, vocational training, higher education, literacy, and non-formal education from Morocco and Egypt produced a draft EMIS norms and standards document for North Africa.

ADEA through its Working Group on Education Management and Policy Support (WGEMPS) has just successfully completed an assessment concerning theEducation Management Information System (EMIS) of the Ministry of Education of Angola.

A joint initiative by the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA)’s Working Group on Education Management and Policy Support (WGEMPS), Inter-Country Quality Node on Teaching and Learning (ICQN-TL), and the Network of African Learning Assessments (NALA) resulted in the successful training of 54 experts from 7 African countries.

Experts from Zambia reviewed and approved the Learning Assessment Systems Evaluation Framework (LASEF) at a meeting that ADEA convened between the 10th and 11th of July at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lusaka, through its Working Group on Education Management and Policy Support (WGEMPS), in partnership with the Network of African Learning Assessments (NALA) and the country’s Ministry of General Education and the Examinations Council.
