Silvia Diazgranados Ferráns, MA, Ed.D is the Director of Education Research at the Airbel Impact Lab, leading IRC's global education research agenda in over 15 countries. Silvia also serves as the Research Co-Director of the Education Research in Conflict and Protracted Crisis (ERICC) programme, an ambitious FCDO-funded project that aims to build a rigorous body of research evidence about what works to improve access, quality, continuity of education, and learning children in conflict affected settings.

Before joining the IRC, Silvia worked at the Harvard Graduate School of Education as the instructor of the course “Peace Education in a Comparative Perspective”, and as the external evaluator of impact evaluations of education programs implemented by international NGOs in development settings.
