Geneviève leads global policy and advocacy efforts to strengthen the impact of IRC’s education work in crisis contexts. She drives the organization’s influence strategy, builds strategic partnerships, and represents the IRC in global education and early childhood development forums. Her work centers on advancing evidence-based advocacy, aligning internal and external efforts, and positioning education as a key pillar of humanitarian and development agendas. Geneviève was the Communications Advisor to the Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation of Senegal for 3 years. Before this position, she was the Coordinator of the Presidential Youth Advisory Group (PYAG) at the African Development Bank Group where she worked in the Jobs for youth in Africa team.
